Surfing is so much better when you don’t have to drive to the beach! We were frustrated with the racks on the market, they lacked quick releases on the bars and were wobbly with long boards, and that’s how the MBB Surfboard Rack was born.
Our Shortboard Racks offer a lower cost option if your quiver doesn’t have anything over about 7 feet in length. The Shortboard Racks use the same bars as the Longboard Racks, but with a simple 4 bolt clamp on the seatpost that holds both bars. This makes installation quick and easy, and they will fit any bike with a seat post.
Quick Release Bars and Stable Mounting
Our racks are based on our patent pending quick release bars. The splined bar design means that a simple push button is all that is needed to secure the bars to the mounts on your frame. Just push a button to remove when you get home from your surf session. When you are ready to go again, just slide them back in till they click into place.
